ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਣ ਦਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਖੁੱਲੇ੍—ਡੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ
ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ।

ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ
ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਾਡੀ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਥਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ
ਮਿਆਦ 1 ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਜਰਨਲ
ਬਾਡੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਜਾਂ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਆਦਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੇਜੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਕੇਵਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ
ਨੋਟਿਸ ਬੋਰਡ ਤੇ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਇੰਗਲਿੰਸ਼ ਲੈਂਗੂਏਜ਼ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਵ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ
ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਪੱਕ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਲਹਿਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ
ਸੁਧਾਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੰਤਵ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵੱਲੋ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦਾ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਕਿੱਲਜ਼
ਕੋਰਸ ਅਤੇ Effective Public Speaking
Skills ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦੇ
ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਲੀਨ ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਹਨ।

ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਛੁਪੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਲਾ—ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ
ਦੇ ਉਚਿਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਅਵਸਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ
ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾਖੋਜ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ, ਗੀਤ, ਕਵਿਤਾ, ਮੋਨੋਐਕਟਿੰਗ, ਭਾਸ਼ਣ, ਡਿਬੇਟ, ਸਕਿੱਟ, ਡਰਾਮਾ, ਗਿੱਧਾ, ਭੰਗੜਾ, ਚਿੱਤਰ—ਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ—ਕਲਾਵਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ
ਵੰਨਗੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰ—ਕਾਲਜ ਜਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪੱਧਰ
ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ
ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ, ਦੂਰ—ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਰਮਣੀਕ ਪਹਾੜੀ
ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੂਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਦਿ ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ
ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ—ਵੱਖ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ
ਰਹਿਣ—ਸਹਿਣ, ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਡਾ.ਰੋਹਿਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਇਸ
ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਕ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੌਮੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ (NSS)
:
ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਘਨੌਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹਨ।ਇਹਨਾਂ
ਯੂਨਿਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਡਾ.ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ
ਪੋ੍ਰਫ਼ੈਸਰ ਮਨਜੀਤਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਪੋ੍ਰਫ਼ੈਸਰ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ.
ਵਲੋਂ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਅਤੇ ਛੇ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ
ਹਨ।ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਬਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਦਅਕ ਟੂਰ ਵੀ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ
ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ :
ਕਾਲਜ ਕੋਲ ਹਾਕੀ, ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ, ਵਾਲੀਬਾਲ, ਨੈੱਟਬਾਲ, ਬਾਸਕਟਬਾਲ, 400 ਮੀਟਰ ਦਾ ਟਰੈਕ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਖੇਡ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਹਨ ।
ਇਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਖੋ—ਵੱਖ ਖੇਡ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ
ਭਾਗ ਲੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ
ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ—ਵੱਖ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ
ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹਨ।
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ
ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਹਾਊਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ
ਹਾਊਸ ਸਤਲੁਜ, ਬਿਆਸ, ਰਾਵੀ ਤੇ ਚਨਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ
ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਖੇਡਣ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ
ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਵੀ ਹਾਊਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਖੇਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਅੰਕ
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਹਾਊਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟਰਾਫੀ
ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮਾਰਚ—ਪਾਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ
ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਫੀਸ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ, ਵਿੱਤੀ ਮਦਦ, ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ—ਨਾਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਾਲਜ ਕਲਰ, ਰੋਲ ਆਫ਼ ਆਨਰ ਆਦਿ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ :
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ
ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਹੀਨਾਵਾਰ ਕੰਧ—ਪੱਤ੍ਰਿਕਾ ਮੈਗ਼ਜ਼ੀਨ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ
ਸਾਹਿਤ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸੂਝ ਦੇਣਾ ਇਸ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ
ਕੰਧ—ਪੱਤ੍ਰਿਕਾ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ ਵੱਚ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸਿ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ
ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ
ਵੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ—ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ—ਵੱਖ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਅਨੁਸਾਸ਼ਨਾਂ
ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਮਝ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਸ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।

ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਕ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ
ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਗਰੈਜ਼ੂਏਟ ਪੱਧਰ
ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਪਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਮਸਲਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ
ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਸਮਝ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪੁਲੀਟੀਕਲ
ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ, ਕੁਇਜ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ, ਲੈਕਚਰ, ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਡਾਕੂਮੈਂਟਰੀਆਂ ਆਦਿ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੀ

ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ :
ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਦਾ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਅਤੇ
ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ
ਕਾਰਨ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚੇਤਨਾਤਮਕ ਵਾਧੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ

ਚੰਗੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ

ਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ
ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਚੇਤਨ
ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਵਾਂ ਕਰਨ
ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਉਲੀਕਣਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸੰਸਥਾ
ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ, ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਚੇਤਨਾ ਰੈਲੀਆਂ
ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੈ—ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਜਗਾਉਣਾ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ, ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ
ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਘਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿਵਾਉਣਾ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ
ਹੈ।
ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਲ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ :
ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਘਨੌਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਉੱਚਾ
ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ “Mathematical
Society” ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ
ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ, Critical Thinking and Logical

ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ
ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੱਖ—ਵੱਖ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ
ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। “Mathematical
Society” ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ
ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਦੇ ਙਰਅਫਕਬਵਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਣ।

ਕਾਮਰਸ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਸਤੰਬਰ 2015 ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ Leadership
Qualities, Team Work, Ethics, Communication Skills ns/ Confidence ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ
ਦੀਆਂ Departmental Activities ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ Subject ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ Development ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ
ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ Exposure ਦੇਣ ਲਈ Industrial
Visit ਵੀ
ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। Guest Lectures, Seminars, Debates,
Discussions on Current Issues, Workshops, Cultural Programmes ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ Knowledge ਅਤੇ Exposure ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ
ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੀ
ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ Merit, Performance ਅਤੇ
Participation ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਬੱਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (Buddy Program):
ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਘਨੌਰ
ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ‘ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛਡਾਉ ਅਭਿਆਨ’ ਤਹਿਤ ਬੱਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (Buddy Program) ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਵ ‘ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ — ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ’ ਦੇ ਝਰਵਵਰ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ (STF), ਮਾਪਿਆਂ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਮੱਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ
ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ
ਪ੍ਰਚਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਲ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ‘ਬੱਡੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ’ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ
ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ DAPO (Drug Abuse Prevention officer) ਵਜੋਂ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਕਰਕੇ
ਇਸ ਨੇਕ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ। ਬੱਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਵੱਖ—ਵੱਖ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ, ਵਾਦ—ਵਿਵਾਦ, ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਲੈਕਚਰ, ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੁੱਕੜ ਨਾਟਕਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕਾ
ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿਣ, ਇਸ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ
ਬਾਰੇ ਸਮੇਂ—ਸਮੇਂ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ
ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬੱਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਸੇਵਾ
ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

Cell ਸੈੱਲ ਵੀ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ Career Guidance ਦੇ ਨਾਲ—ਨਾਲ General Counselling (ਸਾਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ) ਵੀ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ—ਸਮੇਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Library
The college
has a state-of-the-art automated library where students can have an access to
3300 publications ranging from books to journals. A separate section is
dedicated to magazines, newspapers and periodicals. Reading hall of the library
has the capacity to accommodate around 200 students. Prizes and gifts are
regularly given to the students to cultivate reading habit among them.
Parents Teacher Association (PTA)
The
"Parents Teacher Association" (PTA) of the college was established
with the aim to facilitate parental participation in the college. The general
body of the PTA is composed of parents and teachers at the commencement of
every session. Members are re elected every year and the information for the
same is put up on the notice board of the college.
Besides,
developing healthy and trust worthy relationship among students, teachers and
parents, the association helps the needy students financially to make them self
reliant. It also provides a platform to parents to voice their opinion about
the college affairs. The expenses from the PTA fund are made with the formal
approval from all the members of the association only.
Centre for English Language Learning (CELL)
In order to
equip the students with the essential communication competence, Centre for
English Language Learning was set up in the premises of the college in
Oct 2018. Short term courses and workshops to address the upcoming academic
and professional needs of the students are conducted regularly by the head
of the CELL, Dr. Gurleen Ahluwalia and other resource persons. Invited
Lectures, Film Screenings, Language games, Quiz Contests, Symposiums, and
Seminars in interdisciplinary themes make up the calendar of the CELL.
Students are motivated to participate in discussions and to express their views
confidently. Due attention is paid to the pragmatic aspects of the language so
that any deficiency in skill or practice does not limit their horizons.
Youth
Welfare Wing
The " Youth
Welfare Wing " of the college strives to polish the artistic and the
intellectual skills of the students to ensure their holistic development. It
encourages and motivates students to participate in an array of co-curricular
and extra- curricular activities by identifying their potential and by
nurturing the talent in them. Since its inception, the college has found a firm
foothold in the youth festivals by participating enormously in theatre, music,
fine arts and literary events. The college has not only been giving tough
competition to other established institutes of the university but has rather
bagged top positions. Dr. Rohit Kumar is incumbent coordinator the club.
National
Service Scheme
The NSS, a
voluntary association of young people, aims to develop students’ personality
through social service. The college is proud to have three units of NSS wing
run by the programme officers Dr. Kamaljeet Singh, AP Manjeet Singh and DR.
Amandeep Kaur One 7 day camp and 6 one day camps are regularly organized in the
college and in the vicinity of the college to sensitize students on various
issues of social, political and economic importance. Blood Donation camps, door-to-door
social awareness camps and the Cleanliness drives are the flagship programs of
the unit.
Sports
Born and brought
up in the fields of rural Punjab and Haryana, the college students have an
innate enthusiasm for games. Therefore, the sports department of the college
prepares and encourages students to participate in Inter-college, university,
state and national level events and tournaments in the games like Volleyball,
Athletics, Kabaddi, Tug of war, Boxing, Badminton etc. Students excelling at
these levels are highly appreciated and supported with the financial aid and
decorated with the college colour and award of honour by the college. The college has also hosted Inter-college
events on the college campus like Inter-college Judo and Gatka Competitions, to
name a few. Besides, an Annual Athletic Meet is a special yearly event
organized by the department in which the trophies and prizes are given away to
the winners and participants of different houses like Ravi, Beas, Satluj and
Chanab for their remarkable performance in various events. Needless to say, the
youth’s orientation for drug intake can be checked by channelizing their energy
and attention towards games.
Literary Society
With
the objective to promote the literary skills and to develop appreciation for
literature, The Literary society of the college was founded. A wall magazine is
released periodically to encourage students to express their ideas by
critically analysing a text, an article or a book. They are motivated to take
fanciful flights in the world of imagination and write their own experiences in
the form of poetry, play or a story. Various events and workshops are also
organised to acquaint them with the finer nuances of the languages, their own
mother tongue and literature in general.
Political Science Society
The Political Science Society of the College, under the
leadership of Dr. Teginder Kumar, conducts student seminars on various
contemporary socio-political issues and has many times succeeded in bringing
the stereotypical topics out of the closet for discussions. A number of
well-respected writers and erudite scholars are invited regularly to interact
with the students. Lectures, documentaries, films, seminars and quiz
competitions are regularly conducted by the society.
Red Ribbon Club
The club was
established in the college to bring awareness about the issues related to
health and AIDS in particular through invited lectures, seminars, painting
competitions and awareness rallies and the outstanding performers are awarded
by the Punjab government. Dr. Ravinder Singh, the coordinator of the club,
makes efforts to bring improvement in the academic performance of the students
by sensitizing them on above-mentioned issues.
Mathematics
Society
Mathematics is
the mother of all Sciences. To motivate the students to learn mathematics with
interest and involvement, Department of Mathematics has formed 'The
Mathematical Society'. Students of Mathematics organize various activities and
events. The Mathematical society is working very hard to develop critical
thinking and logical reasoning powers among the students. Members of
Mathematical society are continuously putting their efforts to impart the
knowledge of role of mathematics sin real life.
Commerce Association
The
commerce association of the college was set up in September 2015 to foster team
spirit, leadership qualities, work ethics, communication skills and confidence
among the students. Many departmental activities are conducted periodically to
enlighten the students on the above-mentioned themes. Furthermore, the students
are taken to industrial and educational tours to give them enough exposure to
the contemporary market needs of the country. The members of the associations
are chosen on the basis of their performance, merit and participation in
various events.
Buddy Program
The
college is proud to have joined the Punjab government’s initiative Buddy
Drug Eradication Program / Nashe Ton Azadi Campaign. Under this scheme, young
students are motivated to act as catalyst to curb drug addiction from the
state. All the students are given education on drug menace so that they can
stay away from the addiction of drugs.
The program is aimed at giving push to make state free of drug abuse and
by making the vulnerable group of youngsters aware about it by their teachers,
parents and the state police officials. The working of this program is managed
by Dr. Amandeep Gill.
Guidance & Counselling Cell
Guidance
& Counselling Cell was established in the college by Dr. Amandeep Gill to
provide need based General and Career counselling to the students.
